While working the other day at FreePeople, I was browsing the FP blog and came across these cute little desserts. Cookies shaped like hands with henna designs drawn with edible gels. HOW COOL! I thought they were so clever and cute that I just HAD to share them with all of you. Maybe next time you decide to make cookies, you'll steer away from the classic chocolate chip and make some henna hands!

Obsessed with every and anything fashion related, jewelry is definitely one of the many things I love to collect. I love cheap trendy jewelry, random finds, and vintage pieces I stumble upon in my moms jewelry boxes.. which ever, I'm obsessed, and if I could I would glob on pounds of jewelry on a daily basis, but Coco Chanel once advised to remove one piece of jewelry before leaving your house. She'd have to tell me repeat that step a few times... MK knows how I feel, and it's evident in her ring wearing habits. Check it out

There's always another going in and out of style.. This fall the cowboy boots were back in action, as well as over-the-knee boots (both in which I LOVE) The spring/summer foot fad that I am ridiculously excited about is the day and night wedge-bootie. I am simply obsessed! They add a wow factor to any look and are so cool and edgy. I love both these wedges my Jeffery Campbell, and will soon own a pair of those grey "Mary Roks" wedges.

From glam to crazy, everyone was dressed fab for the Grammy's this past Sunday night. The performances were amazing in my opinion, and I was in shock from Pink's hanging-from-mid-air performance. Are you Fur-Real?

A trend we are seeing a lot of this season is fur. Fur jackets, and many, many fur vests, which are my fav! A fur vest can transform your whole outfit. Here I’m wearing Blank skinny jeans with a black American Apparel tank and black cardigan I found in a little shop in SoHo. My all black ensemble is pulled together with my new fur vest and these awesome boots I found in SoHo as well for a steal. I LOVE the colors in my vest and it truly makes a statement wherever I go. Even better, I got it for 68 bucks at a discount department store, SCORE! (P.S it’s faux fur, I love animals way too much to wear them eeek!)

I know this may be too early to post summery outfits, but these are some things I love for spring time, and are pieces I'm starting to buy for warmer days. Florals are always a winner, but mix them with stripes- and it makes an awesome contrast. Throw on a big belt and add a chunky necklace or bangles with a cute ring, and it'll bring the whole look together. It may look weird as separates, but this outfit as a whole would look adorable.. As a bonus this cute look costs about 50 bucks from Forever21.

It’s safe to say that I love clothes, I mean LOVE. I have two closets in my room which are labeled in order of how things are hung. For example, Rompers->Leotards-> Solid Tanks->Printed Tanks, etc etc all the way to dresses, blazers, you name it.. and no, this is not a joke. I can literally tell in a second if my sister Alissa moves one item. I know, it’s kinda OCD, but whatever I am who I am, and like things the way I like things.

However, If there’s one thing I can’t resist, it would definitely be a bargain. Many clothes in my closet are surprisingly not so expensive, because I truly love stores like Forever21 and H&M where you can score a great deal. Their clothes are fashion forward, and won’t put a dent in your wallet. You’ll see me talk a lot about my fabulous finds and Looks for Less.

You may think the "liquid leggings" or shiny leggings are a thing of the past, but as seen on many celebs, and even myself and my friends, they're totally not. Though last year the craze was the ultra shiny leather looking kind, I now see girls rocking the nylon, more strechy type with the hint of shine. I love the Nylon Tricot High-Waste leggings from American Apparel(shown in the first picture). They're comfy and cute, and you can dress them up or down. Simply pair them with a flowy top and high boots and you have a cute day look. Switch the boots for heels and stick on a cropped top and you'll look ultra sexy for a night out. Try out these looks and tell me what ya think!

ROCKSTAR in the MAKING?

Student at FIT in NYC, dancer for 18 years(woah), now self-proclaimed rockstar. Just kidding about the rockstar part, but I recently received a guitar this past christmas from the rents. I've been trying to teach myself, but It's not working out TOO well. I'll keep you posted on my jam-sesh's, or lack there of. Check out my new baby guys! Though these YSL pumps are fab, why would you spend thousands on a pair of shoes? In my opinion I'd save the dough to spend on lots and lots of cheaper clothes and accessories(or even to contribute to a nice vaca) The shoes shown below the YSL's are made by Dolce Vita, a brand I love, and are ridiculously cheaper. I don't care how cliche it sounds, but fashion-wise, I love MK Olsen. People think to be fashionable one must throw on all these expensive, over-the-top items, but that's so not the case. Learn a little from Mary-Kate, and see that you can mix vintage and thrift store pieces with newer, more pricey duds to create an awesome look. MK dresses with her mood in mind, instead of what she knows is in. It keeps her looking unique and different all the time, and for that, she rocks.
