While working the other day at FreePeople, I was browsing the FP blog and came across these cute little desserts. Cookies shaped like hands with henna designs drawn with edible gels. HOW COOL! I thought they were so clever and cute that I just HAD to share them with all of you. Maybe next time you decide to make cookies, you'll steer away from the classic chocolate chip and make some henna hands!

Ring-ing in the New Year

Obsessed with every and anything fashion related, jewelry is definitely one of the many things I love to collect. I love cheap trendy jewelry, random finds, and vintage pieces I stumble upon in my moms jewelry boxes.. which ever, I'm obsessed, and if I could I would glob on pounds of jewelry on a daily basis, but Coco Chanel once advised to remove one piece of jewelry before leaving your house. She'd have to tell me repeat that step a few times... MK knows how I feel, and it's evident in her ring wearing habits. Check it out

Wow-ing Wedges

There's always another going in and out of style.. This fall the cowboy boots were back in action, as well as over-the-knee boots (both in which I LOVE) The spring/summer foot fad that I am ridiculously excited about is the day and night wedge-bootie. I am simply obsessed! They add a wow factor to any look and are so cool and edgy. I love both these wedges my Jeffery Campbell, and will soon own a pair of those grey "Mary Roks" wedges.

GRAMMY FAV'S

From glam to crazy, everyone was dressed fab for the Grammy's this past Sunday night. The performances were amazing in my opinion, and I was in shock from Pink's hanging-from-mid-air performance. Gaga and Elton... SICK, same for seriously every other singer and band. These are some of my favorite looks from this year, just thought to share!

Working at FreePeople, I'm constantly dying over all of the cute new things we get in. I found some pics while browsing the web that kind of remind me of FreePeople's new catalogue which was shot in Prague. The top pic is a new look from this months catalogue, middle is a Hermes ad and bottom just a girl who I felt represents a Freep :)

Are you Fur-Real?

A trend we are seeing a lot of this season is fur. Fur jackets, and many, many fur vests, which are my fav! A fur vest can transform your whole outfit. Here I’m wearing Blank skinny jeans with a black American Apparel tank and black cardigan I found in a little shop in SoHo. My all black ensemble is pulled together with my new fur vest and these awesome boots I found in SoHo as well for a steal. I LOVE the colors in my vest and it truly makes a statement wherever I go. Even better, I got it for 68 bucks at a discount department store, SCORE! (P.S it’s faux fur, I love animals way too much to wear them eeek!)
